Cracked Sugar Cookies

Anyone else super behind on life and blogging right now?  Okay, good.

Anyone want to eat cookies because they are behind on life..and blogging?  Okay, good.

Anyone just want to curl up and and nap with Ike (who is also recovering from the long week-end)?…

It’s Dare to DIY time over at NewlyWoodwards.  This week’s challenge is “Dare to Eat Cookies”.  Can do!  “Dare to Eat Cookies and then Nap”…totally in.

Cracked sugar cookies are a family favorite.  They have a nice buttery sugary taste that everyone loves. I like how festive they look with their red and green sprinkles.  I’m a sucker for sprinkles…and sugar…and butter.  It’s about time to intensify my workout routine.  Darn you sprinkles.

  2. I am approximately ten million years behind on both life and blogging. And I had all the best intentions of making cookies for Dare to DIY, but then our entire kitchen was coated in plaster dust and I gave up. EPIC FAIL AT COOKIES. Glad you had better luck. Those look delicious.

  3. Cookies and a nap sounds like the perfect way to continue procrastinating on life and blogging! I'll take about five cookies please.

  4. Those cookies look good. We normally do Christmas candies, but don't make cookies at all. Possibly that needs to change...

  8. I love sugar cookies during the Holidays. Love your recipe because it doesn't require rolling out dough and using cookie cutters and frosting to decorate. Small effort, big impact. That's my kind of baking :)
