Giveaway- Royal Design Studio Stencil

Today’s an exciting day on the blog!

Royal Design Studio is giving away one stencil ($50 or less) to a lucky reader!

Royal Design Studio has an amazing selection of stencils.  Before I started on our powder room, I mentioned to some friends and family that I wanted to stencil.  They all gave me the same funny look.  I think they were all imagining my brother’s high school bedroom with the grizzly bear and evergreen stenciled border.  Stenciling has come a long ways.

I chose the Nova Trellis because I wanted something that was unique but not too crazy.  We are pretty conservative people and I wanted something that would fit in with the overall traditional feel of our home.  I also wanted to have a little fun with this room.  The Nova Trellis was a perfect fit for us!

  1. I love so many, but I think I would choose Casablanca Trellis for our master bedroom.

  2. I really like the Japanese Flower Garden A. I would use it in a little girls bedroom or perhaps a bathroom for something fun to catch your eye.

  3. It's so hard to choose just one...
So for starters I would love the
"Large Acanthus Trellis" for the wall behind the headboard in the master bedroom. And I would probably do it in a metallic shimmering cream/silver colour on the existing white...
(Next in line the Japanese Flower Garden for the guest Bath in a vibrant yellow and I also adore the Large Linked In)...
I am so very inspired by your project, it turned out so great!

  4. Gosh, so many choices! I'm kind of loving the Large Deco Damask at the moment. I think it would look amazing in the back of the built-ins in the dining room. You know, the ones that don't currently exist. Ha!

  8. That was really hard to choose! I think I'd pick Rockin Roses Damask though to use on our bedroom end tables. They're black and from Ikea. I've been wanting to paint them white to match our duvet and stencil the tops.

  9. I would def. choose the Casablanca Trellis. I think these would look best on a gray matte background with a shimmery silver to do the pattern on!

  10. My fave is Large Ribbon Damask. The runner-up is Ornamental Flower.
I want to use it on an accent wall in my bedroom.

  11. I probably would choose the Casablanca Trellis. I would use it as an accent on a bedroom wall

  12. They have so many great stencils! I'd probably choose Endless Circles Lattice or the Large Marrakesh Trellis and use them in the closet office.

  13. I love the Chez Sheik Moroccan Stencil. I have a white dresser in my bedroom and would use this design in a robin's egg blue.

  14. It's so hard to pick one. I do like the tiger pattern for a living room or dining room.

  15. Its got to be Circling All Over. I am looking for something for the 1 large wall behind the bed in our guest room.... thoughts of chocolate brown and aqua blue.... mmmm.

  18. Its hard to pick just one favorite but I like all over flower stencils, the Phoebe tulip, I think it would look great in a small bathroom or inside a closet.

  19. i would use the Large Marrakesh Allover Trellis in my powder room, in kelly green and white!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I love the Large Moroccan Arches- maybe as an accent wall behind my couch... :) Might need your assistance with the patience in painting though!

  21. I can just has all the stencils? No? Okay... I'll have to go with the Featherstitch Allover. Love it.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Large Deco Damask- in pumkin and gray- in my teeny tiny bathroom!

    ReplyDelete
  23. We're in the middle of a bathroom reno right now and I just bought paint! I would throw that stencil on so fast (or slow) :) I would choose the large curved connection. It's hard to choose one of those. There are so many!

  24. I'd use the Ornamental Cartouche on our grand staircase - grey matte background with the same color but in glossy for the stencil. Anything to replace the hideous pink floral slash bird of paradise wallpaper the previous owners picked out!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I love the Ribbon Lattice. I would use it to stencil our backsplash in the kitchen (which is now the same laminate-type thing as the countertop). The kitchen is a bright blue with gray floors so I think I would do either a base of gray with a grayish-white stencil or the reverse of that.

  26. They are all so pretty! I like the all over stencil Moorish Trellis small. 933S

  27. I can't wait to stencil our foyer with the Casablanca Trellis...still deciding on a color scheme though!

  28. Gorgeous. I think I would want the indian floral. It's not a safe choice, but it screamed at me! :) I would totally put it in a bathroom with maybe some beadboard underneath and a simple waffle weave curtain. I'd keep the background white like you did, then paint it a London Fog (BM) ish color, the flowers could be any color... maybe a rust or duck egg... then I'd paint the beadboard the same london fog color. It'd be show stopping. Then everyone would want to pee in it ;)

  29. first of all i looove your bathroom makeover. i so want to try stenciling something, so i'd choose the linked in or the moorish circles. thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I would choose the Pro Moorish Trellis. My downstairs bath is missing something. I have a SWP Mannered Gold (gold) on the walls with a stripe of Chanticleer (maroon) around the top. My towels and shower curtain are black. I'd like to add a stencil in black and then another stripe of Chanticleer to bring some interest further down the wall.
