Today’s an exciting day on the blog!
Royal Design Studio is giving away one stencil ($50 or less) to a lucky reader!
Royal Design Studio has an amazing selection of stencils. Before I started on our powder room, I mentioned to some friends and family that I wanted to stencil. They all gave me the same funny look. I think they were all imagining my brother’s high school bedroom with the grizzly bear and evergreen stenciled border. Stenciling has come a long ways.
I chose the Nova Trellis because I wanted something that was unique but not too crazy. We are pretty conservative people and I wanted something that would fit in with the overall traditional feel of our home. I also wanted to have a little fun with this room. The Nova Trellis was a perfect fit for us!
Do you have a room that could use a little pizzazz? If so, be sure to enter!
- PRIZE: One stencil $50 or less with free shipping included
- TO ENTER (required): Visit Royal Design Studio and then leave a comment here with which stencil you like and where you would use it. (Share colors too if you’re a real overachiever!)
- GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Sunday, November 6th at 11:59 PM CST
- NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
- OTHER STUFF: The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Monday, November 7th
Be sure to follow Royal Design Studio on facebook and Twitter to stay up-to-date on the latest stenciling news!
I love so many, but I think I would choose Casablanca Trellis for our master bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Japanese Flower Garden A. I would use it in a little girls bedroom or perhaps a bathroom for something fun to catch your eye.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to choose just one...
ReplyDeleteSo for starters I would love the
"Large Acanthus Trellis" for the wall behind the headboard in the master bedroom. And I would probably do it in a metallic shimmering cream/silver colour on the existing white...
(Next in line the Japanese Flower Garden for the guest Bath in a vibrant yellow and I also adore the Large Linked In)...
I am so very inspired by your project, it turned out so great!
Gosh, so many choices! I'm kind of loving the Large Deco Damask at the moment. I think it would look amazing in the back of the built-ins in the dining room. You know, the ones that don't currently exist. Ha!
ReplyDeletethere are tons that i love, but skylar;s lace is one that really stood out to me. thanks for the chance!!!
ReplyDeleteChain link is my favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteabskoultchi@aol.com
ooooo i LOOOOVE the large moroccan key!! i think i would do it in grey/white, similar to the sample on the site!
ReplyDeletefun giveaway :).
and i totally had some crazy 80s stencil at the top of my room growing up too lol
That was really hard to choose! I think I'd pick Rockin Roses Damask though to use on our bedroom end tables. They're black and from Ikea. I've been wanting to paint them white to match our duvet and stencil the tops.
ReplyDeleteI would def. choose the Casablanca Trellis. I think these would look best on a gray matte background with a shimmery silver to do the pattern on!
ReplyDeleteMy fave is Large Ribbon Damask. The runner-up is Ornamental Flower.
ReplyDeleteI want to use it on an accent wall in my bedroom.
I probably would choose the Casablanca Trellis. I would use it as an accent on a bedroom wall
ReplyDeleteThey have so many great stencils! I'd probably choose Endless Circles Lattice or the Large Marrakesh Trellis and use them in the closet office.
ReplyDeleteI love the Chez Sheik Moroccan Stencil. I have a white dresser in my bedroom and would use this design in a robin's egg blue.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick one. I do like the tiger pattern for a living room or dining room.
ReplyDeleteIts got to be Circling All Over. I am looking for something for the 1 large wall behind the bed in our guest room.... thoughts of chocolate brown and aqua blue.... mmmm.
ReplyDeleteThe Large Feathered Damask - I would love it for an accent wall for our guest bath! meenasuchdev@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteThe Rockin Roses Damask would be perfect for a little project I have!
ReplyDeleteIts hard to pick just one favorite but I like all over flower stencils, the Phoebe tulip, I think it would look great in a small bathroom or inside a closet.
ReplyDeletei would use the Large Marrakesh Allover Trellis in my powder room, in kelly green and white!
ReplyDeleteI love the Large Moroccan Arches- maybe as an accent wall behind my couch... :) Might need your assistance with the patience in painting though!
ReplyDeleteI like the Allover Moorish Trellis
ReplyDeleteI can just has all the stencils? No? Okay... I'll have to go with the Featherstitch Allover. Love it.
ReplyDeleteLarge Deco Damask- in pumkin and gray- in my teeny tiny bathroom!
ReplyDeleteWe're in the middle of a bathroom reno right now and I just bought paint! I would throw that stencil on so fast (or slow) :) I would choose the large curved connection. It's hard to choose one of those. There are so many!
ReplyDeleteI'd use the Ornamental Cartouche on our grand staircase - grey matte background with the same color but in glossy for the stencil. Anything to replace the hideous pink floral slash bird of paradise wallpaper the previous owners picked out!
ReplyDeleteI love the Ribbon Lattice. I would use it to stencil our backsplash in the kitchen (which is now the same laminate-type thing as the countertop). The kitchen is a bright blue with gray floors so I think I would do either a base of gray with a grayish-white stencil or the reverse of that.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so pretty! I like the all over stencil Moorish Trellis small. 933S
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to stencil our foyer with the Casablanca Trellis...still deciding on a color scheme though!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I think I would want the indian floral. It's not a safe choice, but it screamed at me! :) I would totally put it in a bathroom with maybe some beadboard underneath and a simple waffle weave curtain. I'd keep the background white like you did, then paint it a London Fog (BM) ish color, the flowers could be any color... maybe a rust or duck egg... then I'd paint the beadboard the same london fog color. It'd be show stopping. Then everyone would want to pee in it ;)
ReplyDeletefirst of all i looove your bathroom makeover. i so want to try stenciling something, so i'd choose the linked in or the moorish circles. thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would choose the Pro Moorish Trellis. My downstairs bath is missing something. I have a SWP Mannered Gold (gold) on the walls with a stripe of Chanticleer (maroon) around the top. My towels and shower curtain are black. I'd like to add a stencil in black and then another stripe of Chanticleer to bring some interest further down the wall.
ReplyDeleteEveryone one of the Moroccan stencils are amazing - if I were forced to pick one it would probably be the allover arches
ReplyDeleteThere are so many beautiful designs, it's hard to pick one. I do really like the Moorish Trellis Small. It would be gorgeous in a bathroom.
ReplyDeleteI like the allover pattern stecil and I would use it in the bathroom at our church. It needs a makeover really bad!
ReplyDeleteThey're all lovely but I particularly like the endless circle - in a light tone on darker tone - maybe in our new home's upstairs hallway? Hard to decide when we haven't moved in yet!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to stencil some curtains for my bedroom with the Ribbon Trellis allover stencil.
ReplyDeleteReally liking the Casablanca Trellis for the entry way. thanks!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! What a hard choice to pick just one! :)
ReplyDeleteI would chose Japanese Flower Garden B to go in my bathroom! Possible with lime green & bright pink. :)
I like the Bamboo Trellis for my bathroom.
ReplyDeleteI love the Springtime in Paris!
ReplyDeleteThey're all so gorgeous. I think I would select the chain link or the hollywood squares.
ReplyDeleteWhich one would I choose? NO idea. Where would I use it? NO idea. I am overwhelmed by those things. I LOVE your choice, but of course wouldn't copy! Thanks for the chance to win...hope you guys are having a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI would use the small berry damask in our bathroom - to replace the peeling wallpaper!
ReplyDeleteIts seriously so overwhelming to try and choose, but I would probably go with the Moorish Trellis in small. Simple and pretty!
ReplyDeleteJeeez, there are so many!
ReplyDeleteIt´s been hard, but I´m dying to try a ceiling medallion on my living room, and the 19th century medallion looks just perfect!
Thanks for the giveaway!
BTW, your powder room looks AWESOME!!
I've been wanting to do a stencil in our master bedroom for a while, and I'm in love with the Indian Floral! We have dark, brownish-gray walls and I think it would look lovely with a pearly, sheer off-white paint!
ReplyDeleteSooo hard to choose! Though I love the Springtime in Paris, I think the Ribbon Lattice it the best choice for my space and style. Our powder rooms are similar, and I would choose to use the stencil in the alcove around the sink and possibly the wall behind the toilet..
ReplyDeletealmost impossible to choose since there are tons of amazing stencils, BUT, I do love the Chain Link Allover, Tiger Stripes, and the Small Hollywood Squares stencils!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely get the chain link all over and use it in my entry!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Allover Moroccan Arches and would put it in my entryway. Not sure about the colors yet. I'm also wanting to stencil the ceiling in my bathroom, but I need to think about the right design to use.
ReplyDeleteI'm digging the Cherry Blossoms pattern. I think it would look great on the walls of our guest bath (our next BIG project!)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Large Marrakesh Allover trellis. I think it would be perfect for the powder room! Thank you for the opportunity to win a stencil:)
ReplyDeleteI think I'd chose the Large Acanthus Trellis. I think it'd make a huge impact on the accent wall in our living/dining room.
ReplyDeleteI'm all about the Casablanca Trellis! Beautiful!!! I would use it in my powder room.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a terrific way to update our rental place. I love the Casablanca Trellis
ReplyDeleteI love the Casablanca Trellis but honestly I don't know if I am skilled enough to pull it off! Your bathroom is beautiful though! Have a great week!
ReplyDelete-Shelley
I would get either the Moorish Trellis or the Acanthus Damask for our office.
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention that I'm giving you a blog award on Monday:)
ReplyDeleteTotally would get the chain link.
ReplyDeleteProbably in a black and gold on the ceiling of a powder room (gosh my arms hurt just thinking of it) or in a white/ coral for a back of a bookcase!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would choose the Rockin' Roses Damask Stencil. I want to stencil the inside of my daughter's closet.
